Seizing the day 🙌 Happy Easter tribe!! 🐰💚 😄 On top of the world right now!! It’s so amazing to be back to yoga on the mat practice, hiking, exercising, socializing, working on my art, photo shoots, & just loving life 😆 Always so thankful for when my body is not flaring! When you have chronic pain &/or autoimmune flare ups it can be very challenging to find the light in the dark. You go into survival mode & you just don’t know how long you’re going to be in that state. So when the sun starts shining in your body again it’s one of the greatest feelings. You no longer just survive but live, love, & thrive ☀️
The last flare up I’m really not sure what was the cause – might have been the perfect storm of hormones going crazy again, IC flare up, & a gut – IBS flare. I ended up in bed… & on the bathroom floor for several days. Which my friends & family made a really good point with this past flare … One of the things that is important to me is feeling like I can take care of myself. I’m not good at asking for help. I don’t want others to worry about me. And I admit to being stubborn on this. I’m very fearful of being disabled & completely dependent on others again. I never want to go back to that. But I need to accept help when I’m flaring. I need to be less stubborn & not let me fears scare me.
So to my family & friends who have offered me help in the past – I’ll work to be better at accepting your help, I promise. I’ll accept your help when offered next time. Thank you for being here for me & being patient with my stubbornness. You mean more to me than I could ever put into words 🙏 I love you all so much!! 💚 #thankful#chronicpainwarrior #nevergiveup#happyeaster
PS Mommy & Daddy just wanted to say thank you for being my greatest support & loves of my of life. I can’t imagine going through all that I have without you by my side raising me up. Happy Easter 🤗😘💚 @carolyn_munholland@steve_munholland
