This is for the women who do not give a flying fuck. For the women who are criticized for showing off their bodies. Being told they are begging for attention & compliments. No, we are not begging for anything. We are empowered by our bodies. We are in love with ourselves. We have a confidence & presence that we want to share with the world. ⁣

⁣For most of us we have spent years hating our bodies. We have spent years looking in the mirror & being disgusted by what we saw. We have spent years hurting our bodies by over exercising & not eating enough. We have denied ourselves food & have starved ourselves. We have caused our body multiple injuries by pushing ourselves too hard without any rest. We have spent years pointing out every “flaw” & “imperfection”’. We have had panic attacks while looking at the scale. We have obsessively tracked the number of inches of our arms, boobs, waste, hips, thighs, & ass. We have compared ourselves to every other woman we see. We have judged ourselves harshly & irrationally. We have done it all in this unattainable hunt for perfection. ⁣

⁣But we are coming to realize we are perfectly imperfect. We are beginning to love ourselves deeply for who we are. Instead of hurting our bodies with our critical judgment, we instead are embracing ourselves.
⁣We no longer want to hide what we once we thought was ugly. We want to show how fucking beautiful we are. ⁣

This is the 21st century, a time where women should be able to feel empowered with their bodies & able to express themselves.

Some may say “these women show off their bodies because they are vain & they just want more likes, followers, & attention” Fuck those people. I am tired of the trolls commenting on a liberated woman’s body positive & empowered posts: “she’s just begging for attention.” We aren’t begging. No, we are standing in our power and THAT makes others uncomfortable.Women are going through yet another revolution where yet AGAIN are liberating ourselves from the so called social norms. Our bodies have been sexualized by men & by conservative religious groups for centuries.

Enough is enough.

Not to mention it does not matter what a woman wears, she is sexualized – look at the women who cover up completely and still get raped. The problem is not with what women wear. As an empowered and liberated woman I love seeing my fellow sisters rising from the ashes of a conservative dominated world. It goes all the way back to when we were young girls. How many of us were told “oh honey you can’t wear those shorts or that top, what will the boys think?” How about instead of shaming girls we celebrate their bodies and teach boys not to look at females as objects. The psychological impact this has on girls growing up is damning. We are truly taught shame for our female curves. Shame for just being in our bodies.

Why must I wear a shirt when a man doesn’t have to? What is so wrong with my sisters and I showing our nipples? Why is it seen as inappropriate when wear our yoga pants outside of the yoga studio or gym? Oh of course it’s ok if we wear a long enough shirt that goes over our pelvis & ass but if the shirt doesn’t cover then we are clearly are sexual deviants. Why is me dancing in a rave leotard seen as provocative?

Never hide yourself away because that is what others tell you to do. Or the comments of “isn’t it degrading as a woman to sexualize your body? How can you call yourself a feminist?” I’m a sexy & sensual woman who is empowered by my body & that in itself is a form feminism. ⁣

Call me radical, eccentric, but in the end it’s just the human body, we all have one… so what’s the big fucking deal?
Fuck the haters ⁣
Unfollow, unfriend, & block those who bring you down. They are not worth your time & energy. ⁣
